New Logo

"The strength of this logo is in its ability to communicate the core quilities of your company, namely, reliability, trustworthy, safety, and security. The symbol reflects safety/security and trust, because it alludes to the shape of a shield. Blue is also a very safe and reliable color. The symbol is given trust and stability as it is balanced as well as self-contained--without distracting lines or forms that lead outside the shape. The typeface has been modified slightly from its original version to ensure a high-quality font and to make it unique in the marketplace. The entire mark is progressive and modern, communicating how your company is up-to-date and innovative. A good logo will function well in black and white."
Hopefully this logo will result in another $200!

Brand ID Design

Brand Identity Design is the best class ever. I have sky-rocketed in my skill with Graphic Design. I'll almost make the claim that I'm good. Really good. Here's a quick summary of the projects I've had throughout the semester.
This one's due this Wednesday; for a venture capital company, I'll sell it to ya later.

Boo at the Zoo logo, for a seasonal event, any zoo.
Venture Point, the product of an arduous group process. The group made up the software and company and mission/positioning statement. Each group member made their own logo, this is mine.
Another logo with my initials. Dynamic, figure-ground relationship, pretty much awesome.

The otter. Our first assignment was to abstract an animal. My teacher complimented me very highly by saying it's almost a portfolio piece.

Monogram

This is my monogram. I think it was very successful. A monogram is a combination of letters into a unique symbol, essentially, and in this case, we were to use our initials. This was a very fun project to end on, I love these logo-type assignments, because I think that's where my strength is in Graphic Design.

MSE Identity

Brand new logo for a brand new site. I think this is one of my more successful logos.

Proposed website-design, without title/tagline text on header and the links/copyright on footer.

Logo Concepts

These are for a new client of Syncnet's. Now that my time at Rivetal has ended, I'm switching gears back to full-blast-graphic-design mode. I wish I knew what I was doing, haha. Can't wait to get back up to school so I can get more efficient at all this.

It's A Numbers Game

If I can just get enough entries in enough contests, eventually, it's gonna start to pay off. Literally. In the mean time, I just need to do maybe a set or two everyday after work, yeah, that ought to boost up my chances and increase my skill, it really is just a numbers game. I don't play games I don't think I can win. Hahaha.

Denied

Well, I had high hopes for these, because I thought they were pretty cool, but I got a total, "not interested" rating for all these, not even a participation ribbon! See if I try to make money off a wine company again.

Logo Pitch

Another submission to the logo contest. It's so much fun, even if I'm not making much progress...

How I Spent My Saturday

More entries to logo contests. These were made on serious time-restrictions, 'cause I forgot about this company that I wanted to try a logo out with, so with 12 minutes left on the clock, I just submitted these two logos. They're supposed to look like those vault locks, because it's an investment/finance/insurance kind of company.
This one's the best of these two, but I'm not sure this logo is strong enough to win anything...oh well, they're kinda cool anyway, right?

Home Hunter Logo Possibility

Yet another logo entered into the contest, this one takes on more of the conept of an app or button, which should serve the company better than the other, since their product is supposed to be able to be used on one's phone.

Logo Contest

I entered this logo into a contest, as I've recently found a website that companies can post a contest for a logo, and registered designers can then come up with ideas in the attempts to be ranked 1st, earning themselves at least $250. If I can start winning, maybe I will be able to continue goin' to college...:D

Rock Logos

My mom needed me to make a logo for youth conference, which will be at the Lava Hot Springs this year, lucky ducks. The theme is "R.O.C.K." meaning Reach, Obey, Something-that-starts-with-a-'C,' and Kneel. If we get shirts in time (y.c. is this Thurs and the screen-printers aren't available 'till Monday) then I'll get one of the extras, hooray! This would be the 2nd time one of my designs has ever been put on a shirt.

Design Process

Here's a couple ideas I've been messing around with for the "final" Syncnet logo. I think I've done a pretty good job this time, and I like how doing all this kinda stuff at work makes me know that graphic design is what I want to put all my time into for school and a career.
Above are some Baroque patterns I designed today for some sweet cake decorating products I'm coming up with.

This is another of the random designs I have to make as "product manager" and "graphic designer" of Syncnet, Inc. Feelin' pretty official, if I do say so myself.

30 Day Meal Planning Logo

Here's a brand-spanking-new logo, hooray! This for another of my mom's products, "30 Day Meal Planning." I must say this is a pretty sweet logo...

Snake Logo

This is a logo-tribute to the Great Basin Rattlesnake I encountered two Saturdays ago...

eBiz

Now this is what I'm talkin' about! Say, "hello," to the final version of eBiz Suite.

"E" Logo

This was going to be the new eBiz Suite logo for work, but it was rejected--not 'cause it was bad, but because for the product it wasn't workin' out. Perhaps this will resurface somewhere else in the future...

I'm thinking about startin' my own design business on the web and this is the logo I've liked the most...

Abstraction Completed!

It's done! Part A is done! I was really happy with the way this project turned out, and I got lots of good feedback from my peers. Now I just have to choose a section of one of these to to crop and then enlarge to create another, new piece that is compositionally sound (and it has to be 18 x 24).
